Lamar Ellis is a seasoned leader in the uncrewed systems industry, serving as President of Drone Education Services and as President of the AUVSI Georgia Chapter. Lamar also serves as Chair of the AUVSI Chapter Council. With over a decade of experience in drone operations, Lamar has been a driving force in promoting safety, education, and technological integration across various industries.
Lamar Ellis is a seasoned leader in the uncrewed systems industry, serving as President of Drone Education Services and as President of the AUVSI Georgia Chapter. Lamar also serves as Chair of the AUVSI Chapter Council. With over a decade of experience in drone operations, Lamar has been a driving force in promoting safety, education, and technological integration across various industries.
Cody Michaux is the Innovation Lead for Southern Company’s UAS team, where he drives projects including remote dock operations and counter-UAS initiatives. With a bachelor’s degree in Unmanned Aircraft Systems from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a background in manned aviation, entrepreneurship, and managing critical projects; Cody specializes in utilizing advanced aerial solutions to enhance safety, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiencCy.
Christian Greene is a Design Technician and Remote Pilot for Carter & Sloope, Inc. Certified part 107 pilot since 2020 using drones for topographic surveys, construction observation, and public relations. Work focuses on the engineering design of water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. Honorably served in the Army in the early 2000s, and raised two children until his wife of 20 years retired from the Army, graduated from Athens Technical College, and began working with Carter & Sloope, Inc in 2018.
Angelica Disanza is a commercial-rated pilot with a background in both manned and unmanned aviation. She holds a degree in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Operations with a minor in Criminal Justice. Currently, Angelica works for Southern Company as a UAS II, where she manages a variety of responsibilities in an administrative capacity.
