XPONENTIAL 2021 – ATLANTA, GA – BRINC

i didn’t give this drone the respect that I should have when I first saw it. The Brinc – LEMUR is designed to be able to perform above and beyond the competition in flight, penetration, and entry into a building. Brinc demonstrated the patented “Turtle Mode” where the drone can flip over to fly, the ability to break windows and finally, the ability to fly in total darkness.

INNOVATION XCHANGE 2022 – AUGUST, GA – RPG STADIUM – WINGTRA

This was the first time I saw the Wingtra fly. When I passed it in the exhibit halls I kind of ignored it. From first glance I thought there is no way this VTOL, was going ot get off the ground. Innovation XChange hosted by SkyWorx Innovatoin and the August Regional Airport. ;led by Diane Robinson and Greg Larsen.

DRONES FOR GOOD 2018 – ATLANTA, GA – GRADY HIGH SCHOOL

The Georgia Chapter of AUVSI (formerly known as the Atlanta Chapter of AUVSI) participated in judging local schools on there drone designs and knowledge of the rules. This isn’t the best video but a little flavor of what was there.

AUVSI DAY 2019 – FAIRBURN, GA – NOVEMBER 6, 2019 – NATIONAL DRONE DAY

This was a great day for AUVSI. We were celebrating National Drone day by having a fun fly in Fairburn, Georgia. Jacqueline Curlee, Pesident of KIDS DRONE ZONE, the Georgia Chapter Vice President of AUVSI put together a great event chapter. We had students and police officers sharing the same airspace. Kim Schofileld, the state congressman came out to learn about drones.

XPONENTIAL 2021 – ATLANTA GA – MIX OF FIXED WING & VTOL

See some of the fixed wing and vtol (vertical take-off and landing) drones from XPonential 2021 in Atlanta.. Fixed Wing drones are ideal for rural areas over larger acreage tracts. They use less power and so therefore can cover greater distances. VTOL’s have controlled landing and take-offs and then convert to larger flight patterns to cover more distances in a shorter time. Essentially, they are converting multi-rotor craft to fixed wing craft. so they can They are ideal for multiple uses that require both multi-rotor and fixed wing capabilities.
